I am having a great time manning Sendero. She has stopped growling at me at least. LOL I introduced my harris to Sendero and they had an interesting meeting. I am really excited to be able to try and fly them in a cast. This will be first cast. I would love any input that anyone might be able to offer up. I hope I can do it. Having two birds in the field by myself could very tough. I am so excited to be hawking soon. Sendero is ready to go but needs to be manned. Kit is still molting for probably 2-3 more weeks. I’m gonna trigger her molt next year in March-April rather than June by the way. Well I’ll get some videos and pics of my birds posted as soon as I can. Until then, happy hunting.

Well, I have a second Harris Hawk for a few months. I think I will be able to get my bird kit to actually fly with my new bird Sendero. The initial introduction went well. Very little aggression and I think it will be ok. I can’t wait to try something new. Hunting season is here and I am ready to get out and hunt.

Kit lost another primary! That was the last messed up primary from the hawking season.

Well, Sigg, Brians Tiercel Gos, is doing good on the creance and should be hunting soon. Check out the video of the creance work on the right side of the home page. (Need hunting season to start August 1st for falconry BTW ) Kit, my harris hawk, is still molting and a little moody. Can’t wait to get her out hawking again soon.
